Development Excise Tax

Authorize the Board of County Commissioners of Cecil County to impose a development excise tax on all new residential units, which are defined to include apartments, mobile homes, townhouses, single-family homes, and any other type of dwelling unit up to three thousand five hundred dollars ($3,500.00) per residential unit to fund capital projects of the County and the Board of Education, debt incurred for capital projects, and additional or expanded public facilities or improvements.
