On February 3, 2025, the Working Class Party submitted a petition to be recognized as a political party in the State of Maryland. As of February 24, 2025, there are 10,089 accepted signatures and 2,154 rejected signatures out of the 12,243 signatures submitted. In order to become a recognized party in Maryland, 10,000 signatures need to be accepted. Accordingly, the State Board of Elections determined that the petition for political party status is sufficient.
On August 5, 2024, the Green Party submitted a petition to be recognized as a political party in the State of Maryland. As of August 26, 2024, there are 10,134 accepted signatures and 7,657 rejected signatures out of the 17,791 signatures submitted. In order to become a recognized party in Maryland, 10,000 signatures need to be accepted. Accordingly, the State Board of Elections determined that the petition for political party status is sufficient.
On December 21, 2023, the No Labels Maryland Party submitted a petition to be recognized as a political party in the State of Maryland. As of January 10, 2024, there are 13,628 accepted signatures and 5,844 rejected signatures out of the 19,472 signatures submitted. In order to become a recognized party in Maryland, 10,000 signatures need to be accepted. Accordingly, the State Board of Elections determined that the petition for political party status is sufficient.
